つい先週読み返してたんだ。学園祭の最終日、ソーマの屋台が向かいの90人態勢のレストランに売上で挑むあたりまで来て、「漫画版・料理の鉄人」として好きだったんだなって再確認したよ。
ところがアリスの締めページで“父親”とかいう気取った野郎が入ってきて、アリスが恐怖で固まるんだ。俺はそこでピタッと読み返すのをやめた。そうそう、この直後から一気にダメになったんだったって思い出してさ。

I was re-reading it just last week. Got to the last day of the school festival where Soma’s food cart wanted to outsell the 90-staff restaurant across from him, and reaffirmed why I enjoyed it as “manga Iron Chef.”

Then it had a closing page on Alice and some twink ass named “her Dad” walked through the door, and she became frozen in fear.
I STOPPED re-reading right there, and remembered why this turned to COOOOOOOMMMMMPLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETE SHIT very soon after.

俺だけかな、中央編もちょいちょい楽しめたんだけど。薊が出てからは確かに失速だけど、林（はやま）戦とE10のほとんどは面白かったよ（りんどう戦は除く）。それにエリナの最後の一品が親子丼だったの、あれはkinoだった。

Am I the only person who mildly enjoyed parts of the vs Central arc? Yeah it’s a step down after Azami gets introduced but the fight against Hayama and most of the E10 were fun (not Rindou’s though). Plus Erina’s final dish being a oyakadon was kino

マジで惜しいのは、トリガーが途中でプロットを完全に迷走させなければ、ちゃんと良作になれたってところなんだよな。まあ、02（ゼロツー）だけはこの先もずっと好きでいられるけどさ。

What really sucks is it COULD have been a good show if trigger hadn’t decided to go full retard with the plot halfway through.
At least I’ll always be able to appreciate 02 herself I suppose.
