最近、甲府・長野・浜名湖あたりのゆるキャン△と『mono』の聖地を回ってきた。あと、ちょうど旅行と重なった浜松のゆるキャン△10周年展にも行ってきた。写真がたくさんあるから、何回かに分けて貼っていく。

まずは展示会から。入場無料。マップがかっこよかった。

I recently visited some Yuru Camp and mono locations in Kofu, Nagano and Lake Hamana, as well as the 10th anniversary Yuru Camp exhibition in Hamamatsu which happened to coincide with my trip. I’ll post photos of them in this thread but there’s a lot so I’ll do it in batches.

I’ll start with the exhibition. Entrance was free. The map was pretty cool.

これは浜名湖と弁天島。S2のなでしこは本当に可愛い。日没前にもう一度戻ってきたんだけど、春は鳥居の間に陽が沈まないから、残念ながらリンが見た景色は再現できなかった。

This of course is Lake Hamana and Bentenjima. S2 Nadeshiko is so damn cute. I came back later before sunset but the the sun doesn’t set between the torii in the spring, so I unfortunately couldn’t recreate the view that Rin saw.

次は舘山寺エリア。舘山寺、遊園地、うなぎ屋、いちご大福の店があるところ。自転車道を高校生の集団が文字通り歩いてて（ゴールデンウィークの校外学習だったんだろう）、その中をかき分けて進むハメになった。面白い体験だった。

いちご大福の店はその日は開いてなかった。残念。日本の店主は、週の中のランダムな曜日を定休日に選ぶという妙な癖がある。

Next is the Kanzanji area, where the Kanzanji temple, an amusement park, eel restaurants, and the ichigo daifuku shop are located. The were literally a school of high school students walking on the bike path (I’m guessing they were on their Golden Week school trip) so I had to wade through them which was an amusing experience.

The shop was not open on that day sadly. Japanese store owners have a weird quirk of choosing random days of the week as their off days.

この坂道がどれだけ過酷か、いくら言っても足りない。電動アシスト付きだったのに、それでも心拍数が150近くまで上がるかなりの体力勝負だった。なでしこがママチャリで、しかもリンに付いていきながらこれを登れたなんて想像もできない。あいつは間違いなくサイボーグだ。

It cannot be stated enough how ridiculous the hill climb is. I was on pedal assist but it was still a pretty physically demanding climb that increased my heartrate to almost 150 BPM. I can’t imagine how Nadeshiko could do it on a mamachari while keeping up with Rin. She’s definitely a cyborg.

うなぎパイはかなり美味い。サクサクで甘くて、香ばしい味がする。うなぎの味そのものははっきり分からないけど。あと、ついつい食べすぎてしまう。なでしこがあれだけ好きなのも分かる。

Unagi Pie is pretty delicious. It’s crispy, sweet, and has a toasty taste though I can’t really pinpoint the eel taste. It’s also really easy too much of it. I can see why Nadeshiko loves it so much.

写真を撮ってる時に面白いことが起きた。おばあさんが、僕がその場所でスマホのカメラを構えて何をしてるのか不思議に思って話しかけてきた。だから「mono っていうアニメの聖地巡礼をしてるんです」と答えたんだけど、ピンと来てなさそうだったから、この写真を見せた。彼女は面白がってた。

A funny thing happened while I was taking this shot. A obaasan wondered what I was doing at that spot with my smartphone camera and asked me, so I told her I was doing a pilgrimage for an anime called mono, but she didn’t seem to get it, so I showed her this picture. She thought it was amusing.

写真を撮ってて気づいたもう一つ面白いこと。アニメのこういうカットの多くが、すごく低い位置――お腹か胸の高さから撮られてるんだ。キャラクターたちは本当に小さいんだな。

Also another interesting thing that I noticed while taking these photos is that a lot of these shots in the anime are very low, like belly or chest level. The characters really are tiny.

良いスレだOP、共有してくれてありがとう。俺も昔、ラブライブ！サンシャイン!! の聖地巡礼で沼津に行ったことがある。こういうのって、休暇の本当に楽しい過ごし方だよな。

Great thread OP. I once did a similar pilgrimage to Numazu for LoveLive Sunshine. This sort of thing such a fun way to enjoy a vacation.

こういう写真を見て、よく人は言うんだ。
＞いや、現実の日本に行ったらガッカリするぞ。アニメで描かれてるよりずっと汚いから。
でも俺は、こういう写真を見ると、ちょっとくらい雑然としていても「居心地よさそう」って思うんだよな。すべての造りに、何か惹かれるものがある。

People always use these types of images to say
>Oh, you’d hate Japan IRL. It looks so much dirtier than it’s depicted in anime.
But I always see these and think it looks comfy even with a little bit of grunge. Just something about the way everything is architected is appealing.

アニメは何もかもを綺麗で完璧な幾何学のように見せる。でも現実の日本に対する僕の印象は、「時の経過（mono no aware）」と「不完全さ（wabi-sabi）」の要素があるってことなんだ。それが、うまく言えないけど、日本の”日本らしさ”を僕に味わわせてくれる。

Anime makes everything look clean and perfectly geometrical, but my impression of real life Japan is that there’s the element of the passage of time (mono no aware) and imperfection (wabi-sabi) which makes me appreciate the Japaneseness of Japan if that makes any sense.
