【海外の反応】”日本は俺たちを見てる”…？アニメに紛れ込む欧米ミームの謎

もう何ヶ月もこれが頭から離れない。日本って、俺たちのこと見てるのか？このセリフが欧米でめちゃくちゃ流行ってるミームだって、向こうは知ってるのか？日本で流行ってないのは断言できるし、昔のガンダムのセリフをこんな脈絡なく引っ張ってくるなんて普通ありえない。しかも大沼（おおぬま）監督の作品で同じ印象を受けたのは、これが初めてじゃない。彼の他の作品ほぼ全部で起きてる。俺はこの人が欧米の大型ミームをちゃんとチェックして、俴たちのために作品に仕込んでると確信してる。この人は俺たちのことを気にかけてくれてるんだ。

Okay, this has fucked me up for months. Is Japan watching us? Do they know that this line is a big meme here in the west? Because I know for a fact that it isn’t one in Japan, and there’s no way they’d randomly reference this line from an old Gundam show out of nowhere.This isn’t even the first time I got this impression from an Onuma show. It’s happened before with practically all his other stuff. I am CERTAIN that he pays attention to the big western memes and sticks them into his shows for our sakes. This guy is looking out for us.

大沼が自分で/a/を見てるのは、もう確信してる。そもそもワタモテのアニメ化は、この板がきっかけで実現したんだぞ。

Yes, I can speak Japanese and I even went and compared the line to the line from Zeta. It’s the exact same line. I just left the sub in the picture so people could know what I’m talking about.If anything the fault is on CR for missing the meme and not translating it as “I came here to laugh at you.”

I’m confident at this point that Onuma himself browses /a/. Let’s not forget that the Watamote anime was made specifically because of this board.
